Notion
Notion is a server integration. You need at least one available integration slot (Basic: 1 slot, Pro and Ultra: unlimited).
Connect TellDone to Notion to automatically send your notes, tasks, and events to your Notion workspace.
Setup
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Tap Notion
- Tap Connect
- Sign in to your Notion account
- Select which pages or databases TellDone can access
- Authorize the connection
TellDone automatically creates three databases - Tasks, Notes, and Events - under the page you chose. Each database has its own columns:
- Tasks - Name, Status, Priority, Due Date, Tags, Description
- Notes - Name, Type, Date, Tags, Summary
- Events - Name, Date, Location, Tags, Description
Every entry includes a TellDone ID so items stay linked between the two apps.
Sync type toggles
After connecting, you choose what to sync. Go to Settings > Integrations > Notion and toggle each type independently:
- Tasks - sync tasks with priority, deadline, and status
- Notes - sync notes with full content, tags, and type
- Events - sync events with date, time, and attendees
Only enabled types are sent to Notion. You can change these toggles at any time.
Changes sync both ways for tasks. If you complete a task in Notion (set Status to Done), TellDone picks it up and marks the task done. Sync checks run approximately every hour.
Make sure to give TellDone access to the specific Notion pages or databases where you want your data to appear. You can adjust this in Notion's integration settings.
Disconnect
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Tap Notion
- Tap Disconnect
Data already in Notion remains unchanged. Only the sync connection is removed.
