Apple Notes

Export your TellDone notes to Apple Notes using a Shortcut.

Setup​

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Tap Apple Notes
  3. Tap Install Shortcut to add the TellDone export shortcut from iCloud
  4. Confirm the shortcut installation when prompted

How it works​

  • From any note, tap the export button in the toolbar and choose Apple Notes
  • The shortcut creates a new note in Apple Notes with the title, summary, and transcript
  • Exported notes appear in your default Apple Notes folder

Apple Notes is a local integration available on iOS only. It works on all plans and does not count against your server integration slots.

What gets exported​

Each exported note includes:

  • Title - the note's title
  • Summary - the AI-generated summary
  • Transcript - the full transcript of your recording

Limitations​

  • One-way only - notes export from TellDone to Apple Notes. Changes in Apple Notes do not sync back
  • Manual export - each note must be exported individually from the note detail screen
  • Requires the Shortcut to be installed first

Use Apple Notes export to keep a permanent copy of important notes in your iCloud-synced Apple Notes library.
