Report issues

Reports are AI-generated summaries of your activity. Here's how to resolve common report problems.

"No report for this period"

This means there's no report available for the date you're looking at. Possible reasons:

  • No activity - you didn't create any recordings or notes during that period, so there was nothing to summarize
  • Plan limitation - reports are only available on certain plans:

Free plan does not include any reports. Upgrade to Basic for daily reports, or to Pro for all report types.

Report in wrong language

Reports are generated in your transcription language, not your app interface language. This is because reports summarize the content of your voice notes, which are in whatever language you speak.

For example, if your app is in English but you speak Russian, your reports will be in Russian.

To change the report language:

  1. Go to Settings > Transcription language
  2. Choose the language you want reports to use
  3. Future reports will use the new language

Changing the transcription language only affects future reports. Past reports keep the language they were generated in.

Report generated but mostly empty

Reports need enough activity to produce meaningful insights. If a report seems thin:

  • Record more voice notes throughout the day
  • Create tasks and events to give the AI more data to analyze
  • Daily reports work best with at least 3-5 recordings per day

Email report not received

If you're not getting report emails:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder - report emails sometimes get filtered
  2. Go to Settings and verify your email address is correct
  3. Make sure email reports are enabled in your settings
  4. Add TellDone's email to your contacts to prevent spam filtering

Weekly report missing

Weekly reports are generated at the start of each week (Monday midnight in your timezone), covering the previous Monday through Sunday.

If it's Monday and you don't see your weekly report:

  • Check that you're on Pro or Ultra plan (weekly reports aren't available on Free or Basic)
  • Verify you had activity during the week - the report needs data to generate
  • Reports generate at midnight, so check later Monday morning if it's very early

Monthly report missing

Monthly reports are generated on the 1st of each month at midnight in your timezone.

If it's the start of a new month and you don't see last month's report:

  • Check that you're on Pro or Ultra plan
  • Verify you had activity during the month
  • Reports generate at midnight, so check later in the day if it's early on the 1st

Report generation limit

TellDone generates reports automatically on schedule. You can also generate reports manually by tapping the Generate button, but manual generations are limited per day.

  • Automatic reports (midnight) are always free and don't count against any limit
  • Manual report generations have a daily limit depending on your plan

If you've hit the manual generation limit, wait for the next automatic generation at midnight, or try again the next day.
