TellDone takes your privacy seriously. We comply with GDPR and similar data protection regulations worldwide.
Your data is yours
- We process your data only to provide the service - transcription, AI analysis, sync, and reports
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your content for advertising
Your rights
Right to access
You can see all your data within the app - notes, tasks, events, recordings, and reports are always accessible.
Right to export
Download a complete copy of all your data at any time. See Export your data for details.
Right to deletion
Permanently delete your account and all associated data. See Delete your account for details.
Right to correction
If any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate, contact us at support@telldone.app to request a correction. You can also edit notes, tasks, and events directly in the app.
Data retention
- Your notes, tasks, events, audio, and reports are stored for as long as your account is active.
- If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed after the 7-day grace period.
- Support voice recordings submitted via the in-app support screen are retained for 90 days.
Where your data is processed
TellDone runs on infrastructure in Germany and works with a small set of specialized processors to provide the service:

If you connect an integration (Apple, Google, Notion, Todoist, Things, Microsoft, and others), that service processes the data you send it under its own privacy policy.

Privacy controls
TellDone gives you control over your privacy:
- On-device transcription - choose Apple Speech Recognition so transcription happens locally (audio is still uploaded for playback and AI analysis)
- Integration permissions - control which services can access your data
- Email forwarding - you decide what gets forwarded and where
- Data export - take your data with you anytime
- Account deletion - permanently remove everything with a 7-day safety window
