Export your data
Basic plan and above
Data export is available on the Basic, Pro, and Ultra plans.
Download a complete copy of all your TellDone data at any time.
How to export
- Go to Settings > Account
- Tap Export My Data
- Enter your password to confirm (for Apple Sign-In accounts, type "EXPORT" instead)
- Wait for the export to be prepared - you will receive an email notification when it is ready
- Download the ZIP file from the link in the email
What's included
Your export contains:
- Notes - all your notes in JSON format
- Tasks - all tasks with priorities, deadlines, and status
- Events - all events with dates, times, and attendees
- Audio recordings - original audio files
- Tags and metadata
Limits and details
- You can run one export at a time, with a 7-day cooldown between exports
- Download links expire after 48 hours
- Large exports may be split into multiple ZIP files (audio is split at 500 MB per archive)
tip
We recommend exporting your data periodically as a backup, or before making any major account changes.
