iPhone and iPad
- Open the App Store on your device
- Search for TellDone
- Tap Get to download and install
- Open TellDone and create your account
Requires iOS 18 or later.
On iPhone 15 Pro and later, you can assign the Action Button to start a TellDone recording instantly - no need to open the app first. You can set this up after installation in your iPhone settings.
Apple Watch
TellDone has a companion app for Apple Watch - record voice notes directly from your wrist:
- Tap the mic button or use a watch face complication, Double Tap, Control Center, or Action Button
- Recordings upload automatically via Wi-Fi, cellular, or through your iPhone via Bluetooth
- The Watch app is recording only - view your processed notes on iPhone or the web

Web
Visit app.telldone.app in any modern browser (Chrome 90+, Safari 14.3+, Firefox 90+, Edge 90+). Recording needs HTTPS and microphone permission.
The web app supports:
- Recording voice notes (tap, push-to-talk, or drag-to-cancel)
- Text input with the same AI analysis
- Follow-up recordings linked to any item
- Viewing notes, tasks, events, and reports
- Managing settings, integrations, and AI Agents (MCP)
For the best experience, install it as an app - the PWA install keeps microphone permission across sessions (especially important on iOS) and lets it launch from your home screen without the browser chrome. The web app and iPhone app share the same account and data - record on your phone, review on your computer, or vice versa.
